Passion Projects - Level 3

This collection showcases a variety of independent 3D models I created purely for fun, experimentation, and to refine my craft. Each model represents an opportunity to challenge myself, whether it’s exploring new workflows, testing different texturing techniques, or optimizing assets for real-time rendering.

Throughout these projects, I primarily used Autodesk Maya for modeling, ZBrush for high-detail sculpting when necessary, and Substance 3D Painter for texturing. My goal was always to ensure a balance between high-quality detail and performance efficiency, utilizing techniques like baking high-poly sculpts onto low-poly meshes to maintain a polished yet optimized look.

I also took these projects as a chance to study PBR materials, focusing on realistic wear, metallic surfaces, and fabric details to enhance the believability of each asset. Almost every model was crafted with game engine implementation in mind, ensuring that textures and topology would work seamlessly in environments like Unreal Engine and Unity.

Beyond the technical aspects, these models reflect my personal interests and creative problem-solving. Some were inspired by pop culture and anime, while others were made as requests or practice pieces to push my skills further. Whether it was working on detailed hard-surface assets or experimenting with stylized props, each project helped me grow as an artist.

I’m always looking for new ways to improve my workflow, experiment with different software, and create visually engaging assets, and these projects are just a glimpse into that journey.
